BYLAW NO. 954, 2019

A Bylaw to repeal Bylaws known to be no longer relevant to the business of the Town of Princeton

WHEREAS a municipal council may, by B ylaw, repeal existing B ylaws pursuant to section 137(1)(b) of the Community Charter.

NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Town of Princeton , in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:

1. This Bylaw may be cited as “Town of Princeton Repeal Bylaw No. 954 , 2019”.

2. That Bylaw No. 8, cited as “Princeton Sanitary Regulations By -Law, Number 8, 1952.” ,

and all amendments thereto, are hereby repealed.

3. That Bylaw No. 14, cited as “A By-Law Of The Village Of Princeton F or Purchasing The

Land And Building Now Occupied Partially As An Office No. 14, 1952.”, and all amendments thereto, are hereby repealed.

4. That Bylaw No. 15 , cited as “Princeton Street Lighting By -Law No. 15, 1952.”, and all

amendments thereto, are hereby repealed.

5. That Bylaw No. 26, cited as “Village of Princeton Sidewalk By-Law No. 26, 1953.”, and all

amendments thereto, are hereby repealed.

6. That Bylaw No. 34, cited as “The Corporation of the Village of Princeton Sidewalk By-Law

No. 34, 1954.”, and all amendments thereto, are hereby repealed.

7. That Bylaw No. 44, cited as “The Corporation of the Village of Princeton Sidewalk By-Law

No. 44, 1955.”, and all amendments thereto, are hereby repealed.

8. That Bylaw No. 46, cited as “The Village of Princeton Road Construction By-Law No. 46,

1955.”, and all amendments thereto, are hereby repealed.

9. That Bylaw No. 53, cited as “The Village of Princeton Road Construction By-Law No. 53,

1956.”, and all amendments thereto, are hereby repealed.

10. That Bylaw No. 55, cited as “West Princeton Water Works By-Law No. 55, 1955.”, and all

amendments thereto, are hereby repealed.

11. That Bylaw No. 56, cited as “West Princeton Water Works Construction By -Law No. 56,

1956.”, and all amendments thereto, are hereby repealed.

12. That Bylaw No. 63, cited as “The Corporation of the Village of Princeton Sidewalk By-Law

No. 63, 1957.”, and all amendments thereto, are hereby repealed.

13. That Bylaw No. 97, cited as “The Village of Princeton Parking Meter By -Law No. 97,

1960.”, and all amendments thereto, are hereby repealed.

14. That Bylaw No. 102, cited as “The Village of Princeton Milk Protection By -Law No. 102,

1961.”, and all amendments thereto, are hereby repealed.

15. That Bylaw No. 111, cited as “The Corporation of the Village of Princeton Service Station

and Service-garage closing By-Law No. 111, 1962.”, and all amendments thereto, are hereby repealed.

16. That Bylaw No. 119, cited as “The Corporation of the Village of Princeton Curfew By-Law

No. 119, 1962.”, and all amendments thereto, are hereby repealed.

17. That Bylaw No. 135, c ited as “The Village of Princeton Fluoridation By -Law No. 135,

1964.”, and all amendments thereto, are hereby repealed.

18. That Bylaw No. 164, cited as “The Corporation of the Village of Princeton Sanitary Sewer

Frontage Tax By-Law No. 164, 1968.”, and all amendments thereto, are hereby repealed.

19. That Bylaw No. 166, cited as “The Village of Princeton Gas By -Law No.166, 1968.”, and

all amendments thereto, are hereby repealed.

20. That Bylaw No. 181, cited as “Sunday Sports and Entertainment By-Law No. 181, 1969.”,

and all amendments thereto, are hereby repealed.

21. That Bylaw No. 182, cited as “Water and Sewer Extension Policy By-Law No. 182, 1969.”,

and all amendments thereto, are hereby repealed.

22. That Bylaw No. 192, cited as “Mobile Buildings Fee By -Law No. 192, 1970.”, and all

amendments thereto, are hereby repealed.

23. That Bylaw No. 242, cited as “Tax Sale Lands Reserve Fund Expenditure By -Law No.

242, 1974.”, and all amendments thereto, are hereby repealed.

24. That Bylaw No. 242, cited as “Tax Sale Lands Reserve Fund Expenditure By -Law No.

242, 1974.”, and all amendments thereto, are hereby repealed.

25. That Bylaw No. 252, cited as “The Village of Princeton mailing of notice to all occupiers of

real property subject to and/ or affected by a land use contract No. 252, 1974.”, and all amendments thereto, are hereby repealed.

26. That Bylaw No.278, cited as “By -Law Repeal By -Law No. 278, 1975.”, and all

amendments thereto, are hereby repealed.

27. That Bylaw No.283, cited as “The Corporation of the Village of Princeton Advanced Poll

By-Law No. 283, 1975.”, and all amendments thereto, are hereby repealed.

28. That Bylaw No.285, cited as “The Corporation of the Village of Princeton Officers

Appointment, Indemnification and Documentation By -Law No. 285, 1976.”, and all amendments thereto, are hereby repealed.

29. That Bylaw No.314, cited as “The Corporation of the Village of Princeton Assessment

Base By-Law314, 1977.”, and all amendments thereto, are hereby repealed.

30. That Bylaw No. 329, cited as “Town of Princeton Establishment of and Representation On

the South Okanagan-Similkameen Union Board of Health By-law No. 329, 1979.”, and all amendments thereto, are hereby repealed.

31. That Bylaw No. 347, cited as “Water Front age–tax By -Law No. 347, 1980.”, and all

amendments thereto, are hereby repealed.

32. That Bylaw No, 406 , cited “ Town of Princeton’s Occupancy and Building Maintenance

Standards By-law No, 406, 1982.”, and all amendments thereto, are hereby repealed.
